    Easiest way to get into crow is from a deep Yogi squat…easy to just get your knees onto your triceps. Side crow is easier to get into from a deep twist chair pose so you really get a good position for your thigh/knee and tricep. Working grasshopper pose but…thankfully I’m already quite bendy so the flexibility is less of an issue than strength for me.

    while some might add that these ‘aren’t traditional yoga’..I think what he does for some, are inspired by yoga and the practice is definitely for all, without judgements. if you enjoy its benefits, do it and enjoy what the poses do to the body. whether it’s yoga or goes by any other name…🙏🏻✨

    He comes across as a show-off, which is off-putting in itself, but when coupled with yoga poses that really aren’t that extraordinary, it’s just embarrassing.

    Those are intermediate yoga poses, that are not "crazy" nor extreme for the world of yoga..just not for beginners — but you do them really very well.

    It may look basic to some of y’all ,but for the average person that lacks the mobility and strength. Those poses can be very challenging.

    These are not very difficult. Try checking out kinoyoga for her ashtanga demo. Most of them are crazy.

    Although the postures may seem crazy, they are Yoga asana.
    Barry does a nice job with exucution
    This one is called Chakrasana and not plow flip
    This one is called Visvamitrasana and not the advanced lunge position
    It is just as important to learn the lineage of the practice

    I started yoga at the age of 49 and now at 50…i can do all this…(well still struggling with handstand)…but the point is tht these are doable poses and in fact last few were in our strong by zumba sessions…

    Crazy?? Pffft, I could do everything except the advanced lunge(don’t have the flexibility for that one) and i rarely do yoga.

    330 pounds my weight before I have tried using the yoga book "zamsoka space" (google it). I could not have enough sleep and then my blood pressure isn`t normal (very high). The content is straightforward to comprehend and it`s approachable as well. It`s such a gift to possess this handbook. .
